Beltline Appearances of Food Trucks
Following the kickoff event, YYC Taste the Trucks, the buzz about Calgary food trucks has been non-stop. Twitter updates have kept faithful foodies informed with the location and duration of the trucks stay during the past week, and mobile vendors have been greeted with long lines well before the set opening time. With the majority of food trucks operating in the Beltline, residents have been spoiled with a wide selection of mobile cuisine. Stops Central Memorial Park and at the opening of Ox and Angela at the 500 block of 17th ave have created flash-mobs at the locations, resulting in the depletion of the trucks’ allotted food supply.
